The eyes and nose are plastic and called Safety Eyes; they are made to be extremely hard to remove, but like any other toys with small parts, please use your judgment when purchasing this for a child under 3 years of age. I am always willing to make my toys with sewn on fabric eyes – just ask!

Washing instructions: with these furry creatures, handwashing is best. Absolutely no dryer! Heat will actually melt the faux fur into a perm-like state.
